West Essex Amateur Radio Club (WEARC)WEARC was founded in 1994 as a forum where Amateurs interested in HF could meet and discuss topics pertaining to operation. The club has evolved over the years into an active group supporting all facets of ham radio, including phone, CW, Digital Modes featuring PSK31, FSTV, and SCTV, just to name a few. The club supports an on-air open net held every Thursday evening, building sessions where antennas are built, and VE Sessions. WEARC is based in Essex Fells. Membership is open to all. Ham radio operators and radio enthusiasts from neighboring towns in Essex County including Caldwell, West Caldwell, North Caldwell, Roseland, Fairfield, Livingston, Verona, Cedar Grove, and West Orange; Morris County including Pine Brook, Montville, Parsippany, East Hanover, Lincoln Park, Pequannock, Boonton, and Mountain Lakes; Passaic County including Wayne, Little Falls, and Totowa, all come together to share ideas and enjoy the hobby. The club is one of the premier ham radio clubs in northern New Jersey. Meeting are held ay the Essex Fells Service Building, 307 Runnymede Road, Second Floor, Essex Fells, NJ 07021.
