The Grover Cleveland Birth-place Special Event Station has come and gone. After an initial bout of rain, and a few rumblings of thunder, the skies cleared and we were able to set up the station.
Participating in the event were Bob - K2NYR, Ray - K2DEE, Mike - K2NNN, John - N2NO, Bob - W2FKG and Barry - WA2UEM, Mike - NI2S, and Steve - KC2TCP.
We had some issues with the 40/20m delta loop we used for an antenna, and we also experienced a high noise floor. We also had antenna height problems as we discovered several of the taller trees on the birth-place property had been removed. We will have to come up with a better antenna farm for next year.
