 Club News and Information

Welcome to the new Wearc web site.  We hope you like this new format.  In order to add new features and more information about the aspects of the Amateur Radio hobby that our members take interest in, we have significantly revamped the site.  In order to minimize scrolling, we have broken the site up into separate areas of interest and hyperlinked text of the 'headline' of the topic to an expanded discussion sub-page.  This means more work for the poor webmaster, but it does indeed allow us to post a lot more info on the home page of the site.  Here are the features we added:

• Added a dedicated section for Essex County emergency communications

• Added a dedicated section for timely Dxpedition news

• Added a dedicated section for contests and special events we like

• Added a dedicated section for local area Hamfests and Auctions

In addition, we have added a bottom banner where we feature old gear, new gear, antennas based gear our members own, wish they owned, or are just plain interested in. Also, we will post interesting QSL cards the club, or our members, have received over the years.

And to round out the bottom banner section - the local weather.
